Four years ago, I went on a course for my work: Understanding Dike Safety. On the last day we went on an excursion. When I signed up for the course, they mentioned that the excursion would be a bus ride to some of the highlights of the Dutch flood defence system. But at the start of the course, the announced a change in the excursion programme. We were going to fly over these flood defences in a small airplane (four-seater). Amazing!
The weather had been lousy all week, rain, snow, windy… Same on the day of the excursion, except for the two hours we were in the air. The sun came out and I was able to make some amazing photos. For this photo challenge, I chose two photos of the Rotterdam harbour area. Because of the sun through the clouds and the fog coming from the chimneys, I think these photos look quite spooky.

This is my submission for this weeks Travel theme challenge: Spooky.

They are very spooky images…
Thanks for stopping by.
Mysterious. I like the second photo. Nice capture!
