In my darkest hours, battling depression, I craved reading optimistic quotes on Facebook and Pinterest. It helped me to focus on positive thoughts and to realise that more people are fighting and winning the same kind of battles as I was.
And even now that I have recovered from my depression, on though days I go to my Pinterest board “Words to live by” and read inspiring quotes. Here’s one that helped me through some rough spots last Friday and Saturday.
And believe me, it all does work out! Today, I went to visit a friend to see her newborn boy. Only she kinda forgot about me, and had me standing for a closed door after an hour drive to her house! But it ended up to be a nice opportunity to visit my uncle, aunt and cousins, who live around the corner from my friend. I don’t get to see them that often because of the distance. So you see, things do have a way to work out! And my friend and her little boy, we will make another appointment. Which means I have another nice afternoon to look forward to!
Somehow, if you dare confront your fears and dare to accept change, things do have a way to work out. They really do!
And just know, you’re not alone and you can beat this disease!
