Finding the extraordinary in the ordinary

One of the things that I love about lens ball photography, is that it forces me to look at what is in front of me from a different perspective. It challenges me to create a composition that brings out the extraordinary in the ordinary. And often, I’m very surprised by the outcome – like this simple photo of a forest portrayed through a lens ball. It just adds that little bit of magic! And I love the contrast between the sharpness in the glass ball and the bokeh in the trees behind it.

This post has been inspired by Ragtag’s daily prompt from last Saturday and is part of my own photo-a-day series.
